Greg Joyce
General Sales Manager
Before working at Torklift Central RV Center, Greg studied at the following schools:
- Boise State University – Automotive Technology, Semiconductor engineering
- Green River College – Business Admin. Economics and Finance
- Mortgage Banking and Underwriting, Operations and compliance
When asked why Greg likes working at Torklift Central RV Center he replied, "As a family man and a professional, Torklift allows me the ability to serve our community to a standard of which I hold myself to. The people are genuine and the customers are fantastic."
In Greg's spare time he enjoys "traveling of course, I am somewhat of a 'Foodie'. Enjoy BBQ and grilling and spending time with my family."
Darrel Hagglund
Operations Manager
RVIA/RVDA Certified Master Technician
Before working at Torklift Central RV Center, Darrel graduated from RVTI. He worked in a body shop in high school as a body interior and trim installer. He also worked as a Chevrolet Master Certified Emissions, Engine Performance and Electrical technician at Nelson Chevrolet for 7 years. Darrel then started working for Valley I-5 as a Pontiac, GMC, and RV tech from 1988-2010.
Darrel said, "I like the people I work with and the family owned and operated attitude. The customer service oriented attitude and reputation make me proud to say I work for Torklift."
His work talents extend into his love of working on classic cars, collecting tools and competitive sports.
Jeff Hassness
Service Manager
"I have a total of 15 years in the RV service industry," Jeff says. "In addition I have completed the RVIA Master Tech Certification (which includes continuing education hours every year). I am also certified by Onan (generations), Norcold, Dometic, and OEM factory trained."
Jeff says he likes working at Torklift Central RV Center because "I have a good team. The people are what makes it good to work here."
Not only does Jeff work hard, he plays hard. He likes snowmobiling, riding dirt bikes, fishing and camping
Dorrine Mandt
Purchasing
Dorrine started working for Torklift Central nine years ago at the Original Location as a Service Writer knowing very little about the industry. After being with the company for about a year, she started doing purchasing. “I have learned and continue to learn from on-the-job experience,” said Dorrine.
“I like working for Torklift because of the team of people I work with, it’s refreshing to come to work with a group of people that work so well together. I am also proud of the reputation that the name “Torklift” has in our industry.”
Dorrine’s favorite thing to do in her spare time is spending time with her family. “My husband and kids mean a lot to me and no matter what we’re doing, they always brighten my day!”
Bob Davis
Sales
Before Bob worked at Torklift Central RV Center he gained experience in the industry by working at a couple different companies. "Automotive Sales, RV Sales at Westlake Chev – 3 years, Renton Dodge- 1 year. Also 15 years experience with Renton Technical College in Information Services. Service Station owner 3 years," Bob said.
His favorite part about working at Torklift Central RV Center is he "enjoys working with the people."
Katie Brown
Marketing Director
Katie graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Apparel Merchandising and minor in Marketing.
She likes working for Torklift Central because “it challenges me to be creative and think outside the box. The staff is very friendly and is willing to help you with anything.”
In Katie’s spare time she likes to go camping, spend time with her family, and travel.
Michael Christensen
Webmaster, Web Developer
Before working at Torklift Central, Michael went to college at Pierce College and then spent years of personal development in the related fields of programming and web design as well as spending some time as an independent contractor under the business name of Akilez Web Solutions.
When asked why Michael likes working at Torklift Central he replied, "I like doing as little work as possible and making everyone think that I've done so much... No seriously, I like being appreciated for the things I can do. I struggle with the idea that I'm good at what I do and that people are amazed, astounded or pleased with it since I feel what I do is simple and most anyone could do as well."
In Michael’s spare time he likes to play games, play with his kids and generally be a husband and father. He likes camping, climbing and swimming for more physical endeavors, but gets little chance to engage them.
Lyssa Clyde
Customer Service
Lyssa worked at the Hitch and Tow shop for a year and a half and then transferred to the RV center over six months ago.
"I graduated with my AA degree and have been in a customer service/ sales oriented positions for the past seven years with two of those years working for Torklift Central." Lyssa said. "I started out working at the Hitch and Tow division for about a year and a half and learned a great deal about the hitch and tow industry, and brought a lot of that knowledge down to the RV division."
Lyssa said she likes working at Torklift Central RV Center because, "I love working with my co-workers on daily basis, they become more like family everyday, and even some of the customers I get to know on personal levels. Also I like working for a company that’s been around more than 35 years that is still thriving and bringing new changes and opportunities everyday."
Byron Mounce
Customer Service
Byron has worked in the RV industry for over 3 years.
He likes working for Torklift Central RV Center because, “It is awesome, the staff and customers are very friendly and create a positive work environment.”
In Byron’s spare time he like playing sports. He is in the Rainer Hockey League and plays for the Amocats. Byron also likes to golf.
CJ Anderson
Chassis Mechanic
CJ went to welding school, is ASE certified, and was a diesel mechanic before working at Torklift Central RV Center.
CJ likes working at Torklift Central RV Center because there is a wide variety of stuff to do. He enjoys working with his coworkers and exclaimed, “It’s pretty fun to work here!”
In CJ’s spare time, he likes to go camping, four wheeling, and any other outdoor activity.
Michael Moore
RV Service Tech
Michael has many years of working in the RV industry that prepared him for the position at Torklift Central RV Center.
He says he likes working for Torklift Central RV Center because he “enjoys the type of work”.
